Good Boy has a name that says it all.
He’s silly. He’s expressive. He’s wildly entertaining and undeniably lovable.

And he’s still waiting for a home.

This bright, goofy young pup came into our care with the kind of joyful, larger-than-life personality that lights up a room. He’s the type of dog who will throw himself into your lap, belly-flop for rubs, and woo back at you with attitude if you dare stop petting him too soon.

We saw something incredible in him—so we invested in his future.

Since early February, we’ve been covering the cost of boarding and professional training to give Good Boy the structure and support he needs. He’s now fully vetted, house-trained, leash-trained, and knows all his basic commands. And he even comes with a free session for adopters at the trainer’s facility to help set him up for success in his new home.

But Good Boy hasn’t been adopted.
And the reality is, pit bull terriers like Good Boy are some of the hardest dogs to place. No matter how sweet or trained they are, the stigma is real—and it makes the wait long and painful.

We’ve had to keep Good Boy in boarding so he’s safe, cared for, and emotionally supported while he waits for the right family.

But it’s expensive.
We spend $2,100 a month on his care—boarding, food, enrichment, and training support.
To date, costs have surpassed $13,000, and they continue to rise every month we keep him safe.

We don’t regret a single dollar.
We love this dog. He’s worth it.

But we can’t keep doing this without help.
