They took my babies. Then they left me behind.

My name is Stormy.
I don’t know what I did wrong. I was a good mama. I kept my puppies safe, warm, fed. I gave them every piece of me. Then one day, everything changed.

We were taken from the only place we knew, a hoarding situation they called it. My babies were rescued. They were chosen.

I wasn’t.

And I sat in a shelter kennel in Georgia… alone.
People walked by. They glanced. They moved on. I tried to wag my tail, but my hope was shrinking by the hour.

I’m a black dog.
And in shelters, that’s often a death sentence.
Even though I’m friendly. Even though I’m sweet. Even though I’m a lab mix and I adore people and other dogs.

No one sees me.
No one came.
And I was placed on the euthanasia list.

Angel Dog Alliance saw me.
They saw my eyes, the part of me that hasn’t given up, and they stepped in just in time.

I’ve been rescued.
But rescue is just the beginning.

Now I need help to survive and to heal. My expenses include:

• Full veterinary care and vaccinations
• 🍽️ Daily food, clean water, and safe shelter
• 🏠 Boarding in Georgia while I wait for a foster or forever home
• 🚐 Transport costs when it’s time to make the trip to safety

💔 My eyes still look for someone to come back for me.
I want to believe that love is still out there. That one day I’ll sleep in a bed, not a bag. That someone will look at me (not through me) and say, “She’s mine.”

But first, I need to make it that far.
