Miriam Needs Emergency Eye Surgery — Help Us Raise $3,500 to End Her Pain and Give Her the Life She Deserves

Miriam’s life has only just begun, but she’s already endured more pain than most dogs ever will.

This six-month-old Pittie–Shar Pei mix came to us from Georgia after being rescued from a heartbreaking situation. She’s quiet, gentle, and deeply loving, the kind of puppy who melts into your arms when she finally feels safe.

But behind those soft eyes is a terrible truth: one of them can no longer be saved.

Miriam’s damaged eye causes her constant discomfort and needs to be removed through an enucleation surgery. Without it, her pain will only worsen. We’ve already completed her CBC and Coagulation Panel (PT/PTT) to prepare her for anesthesia, and her surgery is now scheduled for November . It must happen within 30 days of her tests — time we don’t have to waste.

We’re asking for help to raise $3,500 to cover:

  • The cost of her eye removal surgery
  • Pre-op testing and post-op recovery care
  • Medications and follow-up vet visits
  • Food, transport, and safe boarding while she heals

Miriam has us — and she has you.

Your donation can end her pain and start her healing. Every dollar matters. Every act of kindness brings her closer to comfort, to safety, and to the life she deserves. Help us, help her.

Please give if you can, and share Miriam’s story with others who care.
Together, we can make sure this little girl never hurts again. Any amount you can donate will help!

Here is the estimate for her eye surgery. We are also paying CBC & PTT approx. $100 + her last vet visits were $375 & $110.
